engine rebuild update

July 10 2008 at 5:47 PM
Larry Ham

I just drove my 78X 30 miles (freeway and surface streets) in 112 degree heat, and everything ran great. The rad fan came on at the right time, the temp guage read just a hair over middle, and stayed there the whole trip. My engien is completely rebuilt and sounds much racier at hi rpm's now. Almost sounds like I have tuned exhaust back there instead of the Jerry Brown Muffler. Great to be back amongst the living X drivers. Can't wait to test it over the Grapevine at the next Natoli-fest!
