Euro Conversion Fibreglass Help

July 28 2008 at 9:12 AM

I had a nice surprise this morning when a set of fibreglass euro style bumpers turned up.
They look great with seperate over riders. It'll take a bit of filling and sanding to get them spot on but thats ok as long as I get it done by mid september.
I read many posts on how to use the 1500 mount points which will help as I'm fitting some very large Cibie Oscar spot lights.
However as these are just fibreglass shells, whats the best way to get a mounting into them?
I could use the chopped glass (Ispon P40 in the UK) and sink a bolt deep into it. Or I could thread some holes in a short bar and glass that in with matting. Could even use some nice dome bumper bolts and bolt right through.

Anyone got some experience that gives a good result.

My thanks.
