Got these wheels from Mike M a good while ago and finally got around to having them blasted. I still need to sand them down to a flater and smoother surface and paint them (maybe), But I got impatient and wanted to see how the 195/60 13 would look and feel...
Well, they definitely feel better on the highway at speed, but I "think" they feel a bit softer in turns due to the taller sidewalls. That could be psychological though. That's okay though, because with the 350rr/300fr spring rates I could run over a dime and tell you whether it was heads or tails on the 185/60's. lol
BTW, this car has a "custom" coilover setup I made and have Monte Hospital camber bushings. They are very easy to do and I've ran them for almost a year now, with no problems at all and these have Plaia pivots. You just have to make sure everything is lined up when lowering the car off the jack.
The 195/60 13 are mounted on the CD91A (5x13 24mm ofset). The wheel is hubcentric and mounts perfectly with one OE spacer. Strut clearance on stock struts would probably be an issue, but I do not know for sure. It does go lock to lock without rubbing either the fender or the inside of the wheel well and the car is lowered about 2".
I am not at all accustomed to the look just yet, Especially after seeing the iron crosses with 185/60's. But I think I like it!
