Food for thought....
Sounds like most here do use eBay a lot. Then when you get multiple bidders for the X parts, comments come out as to whether or not we are bidding against somebody we know.
Should we set up a list with our ID's in it? Then if we're bidding against each other, we can chat off-line about it?
I ASSUME that this is a LEGAL concept. If not, scratch it. But just think it could save us all some heart-ache and money?

....murcielagoGTR.... i think the concept is an awsome idea, this way everyone can get the parts they need, and we can help each other to keep the costs of the parts as low as possible. thanks

...I've done eBay selling and buying since 1997. it's not "illegal" or against any of their policies. It IS however, a great idea for our forum, to make sure we "keep it in the family" so to speak.
The "best of" list can be done pretty easily. Just have everyone post a reply to this thread with your eBay ID's, and we'll tally a list of them, and try to make sure to keep in contact if possible? Probably best to POST when you're on an auction and wanting to talk with someone else...any "private" contact can take place then, via email, etc.
My God, its been so long since I've bid on anything I almost forgot!
I generally offer up parts here first (knowing that we're all somewhat thrifty) and then put them up on ebay without any guilt. If I wanna git rich... it certainly won't be from selling FIAT parts.
HA!
I believe I'm papa-tony... but somethimes I think I'm PRINCE THOR!
I'll think on something on my webpage ..... so you put auction number or other ID and to acess a *.db and tells you who's the other bidder ...if it is someone from us ..... or ...have any other ideea how can we do that?
Whatcha think for the best way to do this? I can post initially to Best of and just have everybody respond with their eBay ID's in the message title, no text needed?
If you are on the forum index page you can click the little blue "X" to the right of the thread starter title to open the entire thread at once, or, if you are viewing the topmost post, just change the word "message" in the url to the word "thread"
...the question is, do I really need it?
I just refinished my crosses, and they look ok so they are yours for the taking. Canadan is the seller, he's a class act.
and I was considering refinishing my current crosses. but liked these better, thanks to Mr. Decker for pointing them out. Similar to an 80's style Trans Am. And would paint the center hub and mesh design black as well.
This is the item that got me to open this discussion thread! Rather than running each other's costs up, we can help.
Ovi- there is a set of rims on eBay that ummm WE were bidding on....
