This X seems to be a classic example of a "mid-range" X: still gives a nice appearance at least in eBay auction pix, seems to have kept the owner's interest and enthusiasm, but has some (very addressable) issues that keep it out of the hi-end garage queen category.

We have not seen a lot of this midrange-car on eBay so far this year, so what's everyone's crystal ball telling them: are midrange cars going to sell in the $5,000 range or stay closer to $4,000 where they seem to have been last year?

Also....ebay itself is not strictly indicative of the market at all, ebay is just representative of that way of selling.

I'm thinking now that it might be interesting for someone to track as many prices/sales as possible from ebay and other places. Like an "X1/9 Market Newsletter" like they do with Ferrari....though that
might be stretching it. On the other hand....someone here could track ebay sales.

when it comes to the auto sales. The high dollar cars get listed over and over again cause of some dead beat bidder over bidding it. So its to hard to gauge the real value. I just missed (and I mean just missed ) an 81x with no rust with a 2 litre alfa conversion $1200 PMO
