Response to question for everyone..(long, feel fond to respond) |
| Considering that this is the message board for a website dedicated to Gen/sen fics ... Is it any surprise that we all think people, who are close-minded to Gen/sen fics, are complete morons? Rhetorical questions rule!
If this was posted at the ASMR MB, things would really start to heat up, but I digress. I feel compelled to stick up for the Usa/Mamo fans (and I don't know why), it's that little bit of me that always has to defend the other side. One day, it's going to get me killed.
Anyway:
1) It's just a picture. Just because Takeuchi-sama drew it, does not mean that the romance was supposed to happen. You authors, have you ever had writer's block for a certain fic and then started another fic just because you wanted to get some creative juices flowing? Well, in the case of the picture, Naoko was just doodling.
--> Oh, I am so going to rot in Hell.
2) Now, referring to the manga and the anime. In neither of them did any romance occur between the senshi and the generals/kings/whatever. In fact, in the anime, Naru/Molly was the one involved with Nephrite. Additionally, the generals killed the senshi, and then the senshi killed the generals. How can two people have a relationship when they are more willing to kill each other, than do other couple-ish things?
3) Furthermore, ... That's it! I can't argue for this side anymore. I'm gonna rebutt those points.
1a) If it was just a doodle, then why is the picture so well done? People do not painstakingly colour, decorate etc. pictures that don't have special meaning.
--> I'm starting to feel better now.
2a) So? This is fanfiction. The idea is to use your imagination! So what if there is no real SOLID evidence of a General and Senshi romance besides the odd subtleties and the picture. Imagination, people!
Since there is no more to rebutt, I'll refer you all to Se-chan's eloquent reasons ...
C-ya!
