The twilight zone and those !@#$%^ ethernet cards!!!

well, I am on my second day of orientation and classes start on Monday. It's like being in the twilight zone! It is hard to get used to the fact that you live here; this isn't just summer camp, its home now. And low and behold I find out I have no ethernet port so I have to go get a network card soon and install it. i called my mom hoping she could overnight it to me since I have no car and I don't want to go trapsing around on the bus system during orientataion and there are things to do. My Bro got all indignat and was like well you're in college, grow up...blahblahblah....this coming from the boy who can't connect to the internet without my help and I have to install word 2000 for him.....that really got me POed! I decided to do it myself though 'cuz if my mom got one that doesn't fit it would be a pain to return. blink look at me rant! I apologize...I like it here and I'll tell you more when classes star...not that you all want to know. looks around and sees everybody has already left *sweatdrop*
