Tokyo Shopping Mall

First off, I would like to say this is a great mod, easily one of the best I have ever played. That aside, I would like to know if the abundant shadows in the thug invested shopping mall you have to go thru to get to the bus terminal hide you. They don't seem to, which is odd b/c I know that they do in Hotel Carone. Any help would be appreciated.

Works for me

Well, it seems to work for me. I can hide all day. The real problem, which was a problem with the original - and was one of the few things I hated about the game - if you attacked with the dartgun, even if the enemy wasn't looking at you, he could find you even if you were hiding in the darkness. And if you ran away into the darkness he could find you. Seems like the AI radar didn't work unless you attacked them :(

You don't have to attack them (except the two that are talking about the tako soup). it is perfectly possible to sneak past them even without using the light aug. but if you need light, and if you have flare darts, you can use those flare darts to distract them while you sneak past in the shadows.

Really?

Really? Now that I think about it, I do think that the incident that made me wonder was me useing the dart gun from the shadows. Thanks for the replies
