Not sure how many folk know this. At the beginning of the game you can get a sword, this is very useful as there are quite a few locked doors that the sword can break open. As you stand facing Jocks helo & on your right there is a guard with a sword. Get on the parapet, duck down & zap him with the prod so you don't kill him, take his sword.

Yes, this is a Redsun forum. The guard on the parapet, ramp, walkway around the wall or whatever it is called.
This is the only Redsun forum i can find. Only been thru the game once & i have a load of questions about some of the locations but cannot remember the names of the top of my head.
Here's one: This is where the trianing hall is, there a bloke dressed in a red gown, an MIB, 3 bots & a about dozen blokes. There is a helicopter on a pad in this level & on the pad is a datacube which i cannot reach. There is also an unreachable room in the same place as the helipad where there are two guards & two buttons. The buttons change the radar image, whats the point of this? got me pretty confused. I will ask more if i can remember the proper location names.

if you're talking about what i think you're talking about, then look around in that big room. there should be a button somewhere that... let's just say it gets rid of the helicopter, and then you can get to the datacube.

and the 2 buttons in the control room... i think they change the displays on the desks, nothing more.

i've played redsun several times over the past year or so, but it was only recently that i found all this out...

Thankyou again for the reply Anon. I will have an extra look around next time i play redsun. Redsun is a lot more extensive than i thought it would be. I have also just discovered ghosting. Not using it to cheat, just to have a better look around the map before leaving to see what hidden extras i have missed.

before you rematerialize again, make sure that you are in a space that is suitable for humans. if you materialize in a wall, for example, you'll zilch out faster than you can say OOPS!
