I do believe that if North Middlesex could choose who they would rather play, they would pick Delhi. Thamesford has had a history of beating North Middlesex, so I believe they would rather be playing Delhi. And I also believe North Middlesex gave it their all on Saturday night to ensure Thamesford did not finish the round robin at 2-2, and did not have anything left in the tank for the Sunday afternoon game.

Thamesford cannot complain because they had ample opportunity to win their own games. I just think the schedule was flawed though. Why did Delhi get a day off both weekends where the other two teams did not?

Well, it should be an interesting final. I say North Middlesex in five games.

I am not making excuses, just pointing out some factors that could have played a key role in deciding who are the last two teams left.

If you actually read my post, I said that Thamesford had every opportunity to win their own games, so they have no excuses. Instead, it seems that you read a couple of lines, let your blood pressure rise, and tried to spew out a half intelligent response and the only thing you could think of was to tell me to shut the fuck up. You actually were yelling it at me through your use of capital letters.

Dont get mad at me because I said North Middlesex will win in five. That is my prediction. And mine only. Could I be wrong? Probably. Delhi might win in four straight. Who knows. I am not lambasting you for saying Delhi will win. Maybe if you, and your buddy, would not get so defensive every time someone gives a different opinion than your own, you might actually be taken serious, not just looked at as a poster who screams and yells obscenities.

I never saw thamesford last year and yes I know they swept the finals and won it all... Congratulations to Thamesford 2007-08. ( see its not hard to show respect where its due) but the fact is this year, they were slow, they had one good player #11 who mind you is a very good player, and if hes an Over ager he had a good career. heard he was the reason they won it last year. BUT... this year thamesford was good NOT THAT GOOD, i know delhi and them went 2-2 in playoffs and season but... I think we can all agree they neeed a new arena. (now thats no excuse, in fact hats off to thamesfords coaching they know how to play hockey in their own barn WHICH IS CRUCIAL IN HOCKEY ESPECIALLY PLAYOFFS.

After the game sunday i heard from north middlesex players and coaches while walking by... were gonna sweeep Delhi. THE REASON: they sat 3 players and played their back up goalie.

Well boys where was #44 (A SOLID D-MAN AND ONE OF DELHIS BETTER D) or # 13(ARGUABLY TH BEST SET UP MAN IN THE LEAUGUE) and was that not there 16 year old back-up in net???? (DELHI'S STARTER WAS TALKED ABOUT FOR GOALIE OF THE YEAR)

then while in North middlesex, Delhi lost 4-1 but it was a 1-0 game goin into the 3rd. HOWEVER: bessagatto got tossed in the first(ARGUABLY DELHI'S BEST SCORER), #91 wasnt playin (A GUY WHO ISNT SHY OF PUTTIN THAT PUCK IN THE NET) and # 40 wasnt playin (HES NOT EVEN GOOD THO)..

Anyways I will finally give my respect to delhi, they prooved me wrong through and through.. I have nothing to say since im out on the golf course everyday cept today cuz its winter. Delhi has a tough team, solid 4 lines up front, solid Dmen, and a great tender. the 16 yr old isnt bad as well, probably should be up at C next yr.

You guys played good skilled hockey vs hags, should of been a closer series but wasnt. You guys beat out the favourites in Thamesford. Now you have one more obstacle which will be the toughest. You cannot judge how the series will go by sundays game. But looked like NorthMid bullied you guys out there, look for that being a factor in the series unless Delhi fights back...

Let northmid take dumb penalties and you will win the series on the PP. That Backdoor pass is always hard to defend, even if everyone sees it coming..
