Nephthys then brought her mind back to the Junkyard. Who in the Junkyard would she miss? Who would actually miss her? Certainly not Troubador! Neph's memory resurrected that painful encounter with Troubador outside the Lair that afternoon. Sifting through it more analytically than the emotional riot of her heat, she could see clearer how Troub would remain with his mate. It brought shame to Neph. Capt'n never mated with another when it would break up their relationship. Neph knew better; she just had a rather mischievious streak in her to push to see how far those boundries might be.

*Her own thoughts were also on Troubador. She wondered how he and Ally were getting along. How many kittens did they have? Were they happy? Then her thoughts turned to Troub's other love, Brigid. What was she doing? How was Morrigan?... Her thoughts continued to drift.*

Not liking where her thoughts had drifted, Neph reopened the conversation. "Tell me about Amsterdam."

*She snapped back to the present,* Not much to tell....I spent most of the time in Judit and Thomas's house...Thomas is a vet.

"Your attitude certainly has changed towards the humans." Neph noted. "Especially with this new idea of yours. It's almost exactly opposite of what you thought when you were a kitten." Not that they knew each other while kittens; only teens.

I know...I feel a little guilty. Mama Sim, our Aunt, had me as a guest for a while....I never gave her pet human a fair chance....I was too wrapped up in what happened to me and my mother's other kittens.

Neph didn't bother asking for the details. Terossa had mentioned once, or perhaps it was Godiva, a bit of the history. She only nodded. "I guess humans are like us cats in a lot of ways." She shrugged, getting philosophical wasn't what she normally did. "I'm thinking of getting my fur trimmed. It's been so long, and so hard to keep tangle-free. Have you ever had your fur trimmed?"

*She looked at her own short hair, and laughed* I'd be bald!

Neph laughed. "You're right!" She laughed a bit more at herself, before going on. "It would be nice to be short-haired for a bit, I think, but I couldn't stop being long-haired. It's a part of me." Neph eyed Terossa. "You're comfortable in your skin now."

[how much longer did you want to RP this out? And I've been down for a bit, hadn't felt like RPing any. I'm sure you know what I mean - but that's why I hadn't been online in a while.]

(Go ahead and post our arrival in London whenever you want to ...though I am enjoying the heart-to-heart these two are having.)

*She smiled warmly at her sister,* I've always felt secure about my skin...it's my life I've worndered about.

"You always were searching for the meaning of life, and all that rot." Neph couldn't help it, the whole subject was rather boring. "You should just settle down with big, dark, and handsome, and have lots of litters." With a half push, Neph reached over to tousle Terossa's hip and tail. "Get out of trouble that way, and Godiva won't worry so much about you." She laughed. "Plus, think of the way father would react! His son-in-law ... the Alpha of the Junkyard!"

*She closed her eyes a moment, and allowed herself to see the picture Naph painted...she sighed,* That would be nice...but I think my idea is better. Troub and I will never be more than friends...and I have to accept that.

Neph wisely just kept her mouth shut on what she thought of that, only saying, "Keep your friends. Few and far between to stand with you as it is, keeping the ones you got is a nessecity!" [ARGH! I can't spell!]

*She reaches over and gives Neph a big hug,* What do I need a tom for? I have my sister, 'Diva, and Macavity for family...even if we are a little disjointed. And as for having kittens...once my idea gets going I should have all the kittens I can handle.

The queen laughed, before giving another shove to Terossa. "Yes, I can see you with lots of kittens, here there and everywhere. You just can't help yourself, you need to mother kittens everywhere!" A another half laugh, typical of Neph, before she shakes her head. "Be sure and keep in touch. I'd like to know who all will be my neices and nephews!"

*She hugs Nephthys tightly,* I promise!

Nephthys hugs Terossa back, before sending her back to her own cabin. It was getting late, and Neph had to navagate a tricky passage early the next morning and needed her sleep.
