I have a 1954 Siegler Oil Stove. The way the manual tells you to light it is to open the fuel valve and allow a small amount of fuel to build up in the pot. The you open the two front doors and wad up a clean ex or paper towel then light it and drop in. Close the doors ajust the flam and allow the stove to warm up before turning on the blower.
