The machine is so heavy, a crane hoists it thru the window across Volker's apartment into the workshop!

The machine will allow Volker much more independance and flexibility in his work...

Here it is finally settled down.

The work of a single man (3 of 3)

January 17 2005, 1:35 AM

As before, it is really fantastic to see the work of one man...building a watch up...even creating the case and the tiny numerals....follow the old posts in the archives under Volker Vsykocil.

Here is the workshop with the latest mill added.

The markers being made...

Inspite of so many stools and chairs you see...Volker works alone.

Custom made for Volker

January 18 2005, 4:11 PM

Volker is one of the rare watchmakers who also happens to hold an engineering degree and has a huge background in mechanical engineering work before he became a watchmaker.

The machine is designed and custom made for/by him for his work.
