It has been over 7 years, since the introduction and planning for Opus 1 with FP Journe's entire series then , including elements of the Octa and the Souvereign series.

Then 2003 with Vianney Halter.

2005 with URWERK's mighty Opus 5.

Creating great publicity for these previously unknown or little heard of figures in watchmaking.

Max Busser has been extremely daring and inovative, staying far away from the "me too" crowd.

Personally from my perspective, Max has ONE essential quality that makes his choices of projects important. Reaching above "creativity", his Opus projects have been necessary. They have created benchmarks and icons. They have avoided fashion and the already saturated "being different" timepieces.
