Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on in the skies of America? Everytime I think I'm starting to get a handle on it, something like this comes along. First of all, you can clearly discern one of the trails 'spruting' out puffs of god-knows-what in of the trails. This leads me to believe that perhaps the sprayjockey was ecperiencing some sort of technical difficulties. Starting at about the seven second mark of the video, a bluish flame/light/whatever can be seen emanating from the tail-section of the airplane.

This continues for several seconds and leads me to believe that something may in fact gone wrong on this particular flight. Do a stop frame analysis on this video and take a good look at just how pronounced this chemflame-thingy is. This video was shot by Eyesopen in the state of Maine on September 18, 2001.

My lil Colleague there in Maine has really got something there...!!!! Video is so much better then photos anyday! The "flame out" one resembles the shot of my "whateveritwas" I got and have on Tracers 8....looks very similar! Astounding...I didn't "see" my chemplane "morph" like that but it showed on the pic. I have Zoom lense also. Very good research on Jims part there!++++Ooops, don't have broad-band but will be outta commission myself for a bit. Hubby started falling down steps and I went to "break" his fall and his 215 lbs. drove my right shoulder down to my hip....Good thing I'm left handed! I get our house lookin like the house in Chevy Chases Xmas Vacation movie...lights all over...good thing I do it day before Thanksgiving!! Those, videos....somethin really weird is definitely goin on in our skies. My pic looks exactly like his video ended up looking! Wild! Be good! ^j^ ^j^ Joanne
