That is incredibly benevolent of the FBI to declassify 248 pages of John Lennon's file. I heard an interview a couple of years ago on the radio (don't remember which author but someone promoting their book) that talked about Lennon's file being as thick as a major city's phone book. He knew he was being watched and his phones were tapped. If he wanted to make a call he didn't want the FBI to know about, he would go next door and borrow his neighbor's phone which happened alot. Among the items in his file were the lyrics to his song "Working Class Hero"
What puzzles me is what good are those 248 pages; and what is on the other TWELVE THOUSAND pages?
