I very much appreciate your informative response and the links you included. I am a little surprised at myself: I suspended disbelief upon the second reading of the article, and about the fifth look at the illustration (the same as the one in the Cabinet #5 link you provided) showing the two balance springs above the single balance wheel, with a caption identifying it as AP Caliber 3120. It was like I had double vision.
There would have been a lot of discussion on the achievement if it were in the marketplace in the 3120, of course.
Again, thank you for the detailed response. Times are exciting at AP.
