As you can see, I got one step closer to be done with my project, but there is still a long way to go.
After numerous trials and errors, endless CAD/CAM programming - finally it's getting closer.
Now the aluminum prototype is done. (Don't get fooled by the different color, many scratches etc.
The objective here was to make a cover that will FIT properly. The opening for the crystal has to
be perfect and of course the intricate shape of the case back with its MANY edges as well as
the channel / grove for the gasket - has to be machined perfectly - assuring proper sealing and perfect fit.

(Now the case and the case-back will be pressure tested (with caliber taken out). It will be tested 'over' OEM ROO specs.
After this test - fist prototype will be made in identical stainless steel as ROO. Fit and finish will be perfect and on par with OEM.
Of course - the SS piece will be also tested before the caliber will be placed back, inside of the watch.

I am excited....I think when this thing will be done - out of same material, nicely finished....it will
compliment the watch perfectly and I will be able to enjoy to look at that nice ROO caliber
whenever I want. Once all done, strap back on etc........I think it will be a neat ROO.

More updates to follow in upcoming weeks as the project will be getting finished.
