the Offshore represents everything I want in a watch. Understated elegance, yet sporty and casual, though not suitable for really tough physical activity. I leave diving and swimming to my Rolex GMT Master. The only reason I waited so long to get an Offshore was for the new movement, I understand that the JLC movement is well elaborated, but I still wanted to have an "in-house" watch, which is why I got the 15300, but it was a bit too formal for my wear. I also love the fact that I can wear this watch around and not worry about people on the street recognizing it as an expensive watch. Still loving every bit of the Safari, and hope that it won't be my last AP.
Although, I almost had a heart attack this morning as I put my first ding in the bezel.
