Looks really cool your friend knows his stuff, one question the inner ring which holds the crystal how much does that stick out. Will it be comfortable on the wrist or leave a circle indented in it after wear. As well gaskets ? Makeing your own or just reuseing the originals ? What is chance of failure the original. I would bet you cannot purchase it from AP.
