. . . I've just seen three APs over the last few months, all at the same location - the Commerce Club, south of downtown Los Angeles.

A friend of mine owns a pastrami joint nearby, and we stop in at the Commerce Club fairly often to have a drink or two. We have to pass the gaming rooms on our way to the sports bar, which is where I've seen three Royal Oaks on the wrists of card players in as many months.

This might not seem unusual to some, but considering that I've only seen two others in the wild over the last dozen years (one at the Rainbow Bar & Grill, the other at the ALMS race in Long Beach), it's definitely out of the ordinary for me.

Now I know how bird watchers feel when they spot a rare one happy.gif !
