Response to Vacheron Constantin presents Tour de l'Ile: The world's most complicated wristwatch |
| I knew my guess about this piece was not even close at all (probably got half of all the functions right), but overall it looks like a very interesting piece of art. I love all the French writings on the watch (especially lever and coucher, they are the times when the sun get up and go to bed!). Still don't understand why the need to put the Geneva Seal hallmark on the dial (is it because the backside display?). The diameter of this watch is the same with Panerai's 1950 and I am sure it is also thicker as well. It will be very intersting to see how it looks like on one's wrist though, probably the biggest VC ever made. Congrats to VC on such an achievement and looking forward to see the rest of the anniversairy models (more affordable ones hopefully). Thanks!
Regards,
Roger
