calendar to have one complication, but a major one, (as opposed to a 'complete calendar' being a minor complication, or an annual calendar as a medium complication, for instance).

Similarly, by VC's count, would one have to assume that a chronograph should be listed as three complications, (stopwatch timing of seconds, minutes and hours)? To me it's one complication. A split-second chronograph is also one complication, but a more 'major' one than a simple chrono.

I personally feel anything else is just stacking up numbers, and it's not about numbers. It's about craftsmanship.
