As to my "modesty": I am mentioned inside the watch, but only by my initials. Look at the picture:
and find the small bridge above the power reserve. You will read "No. 0", because of the 3 movements Louis Elysée Piguet completed 1893 two have gone astray and only the number 0 is still existent. To the left you will see WS, the initials of my first and family name, and to the right you will see LA, which stand for Lord Arran.
Again, the VC is a watch with some astronomic complications, whereas my watch contains rather classic complications, such as the Grande et Petite Sonnerie and the split second chronograph, jumping minute counter (60 minutes) and fly back, plus a not so classic thermometer.
I think that the watch world is richer now with this VC complicated and so wonderful watch.
