Since I never wear a Rolex, I don't worry about security. I often wear my Patek 3970 in public, but nobody has ever indicated that they even noticed it. I've been with people who are wearing a Rolex, and seen them get constant comments, even while I'm standing there wearing my 3970. Even if I had a watch that cost over $US1,000,000 I would not fear wearing it, but I would be very uneasy wearing a $US4,000 Rolex.
