Tom Cruise and VC?

Dear VC PuristS,

I heard on the news (in Bangkok) that a VC watch(es) was involved in Tom Cruise's wedding (he gave it to his wife or vice versa). Anyway, since the news report did NOT mention which model, does anyone know which VC for TC and/or his lovely wife? Just curious...even more so, esp. when TC is reportedly not a watch collector, turning down IWC's offer to keep the Mark XV from the movie "Vanilla Sky."

Thanks for any news/insights you care to share.

Cheers,
Wootichai

My wife, a genius in the field of trashy magazines and gossip columns, tells me that it is

this model in yellow gold:

The dual time regulator. Never underestimate the informational content of trashy magazines and web sites!

Apparently Katie had some soppy engraving on the back. Any bets on when this might appear on Antiquorum? I have been warped by the cynical world in which we live....

PS I cannot really blame Tom for not wanting to remember Vanilla Sky - I am still trying to expunge the memory myself....

Thanks for the info, Andrew!

My wife is also well-versed with celebrity gossips--albeit most of them concern Thai celebs. Therefore, she could not readily offer info. on the VC when I asked her.

Anyway, cheers to you and your wife!

The necessary reference: People Magazine Blog. As I said, my

wife is a genius at this sort of thing, and while I know I am joking around, seriously, trashy magazines and websites contain a wealth of information.
