Are there no female watch-lovers ?

I noticed that all of the participants of this forum (and others) are men.

OK, some of the names don't really specify the gender, but I've not yet seen a posted message of a female participant.

Are there no female watch-lovers or is this stricktly a men's affair ?

Looking at the different watch-catalogs, I see that women's watches are definately a minority at most manufactures.
Is it because a watch is (almost) the only piece of jewelry available to men ?
Do women just let us have that one because they have so many other things to focus on ?

A few weeks ago I was in Vaduz in Liechtenstein (within the Swiss borders for anyone who doesn't know that) and of course I paid all the watch-stores a visit.

I looked at some rather nice watches for women, but my girlfriend (who loves jewelry and who bought me my first manufacture-watch) just wasn't interested.

Is it really just a guy thing ???

Greetings
Jeroen
