Peter and friends, I have an F2003 GA! I have had the watched checked by the factory, OK! I have had my jeweler try it at his shop on the winder,OK... but when I get it home it will not hold a wind; I am up to the 950 CC as per the database;(states 500CC) should I go to Clockwise or bi-directional? The watch runs fine if I am wearing it....thanks, dogdoc(MAX, USA)

It just begs to be on your wrist :-)

Hi Max,

there are pieces that donīt do well on winders.
No idea why they refuse to wind on a winder and other units of the same model and even of the same production batch will do, but still it is a phenomenon that can be observed from time to time.
So iīd chalk it up to your watch having a soul and simply begging to be on your wrist

In any case, iīd not recommend to change the winder settings.
Overwinding will cause wear and subsequently damages, so thatīs something to avoid.

Cheers,

Peter
