Peter and friends, I have an F2003 GA! I have had the watched checked by the factory, OK! I have had my jeweler try it at his shop on the winder,OK... but when I get it home it will not hold a wind; I am up to the 950 CC as per the database;(states 500CC) should I go to Clockwise or bi-directional? The watch runs fine if I am wearing it....thanks, dogdoc(MAX, USA)

It just begs to be on your wrist :-)

Hi Max,

there are pieces that don´t do well on winders.
No idea why they refuse to wind on a winder and other units of the same model and even of the same production batch will do, but still it is a phenomenon that can be observed from time to time.
So i´d chalk it up to your watch having a soul and simply begging to be on your wrist

In any case, i´d not recommend to change the winder settings.
Overwinding will cause wear and subsequently damages, so that´s something to avoid.

Cheers,

Peter
