      Q. Dear Ms. de Joseph,

Over the past few years I have been asking my mom if I can put a relaxer in my hair, and she has been telling i will mess up my hair. I see my friends hair (SOME not all) at school, and see how nice their hair looks with a perm. I get my hair pressed (hot combed) and I getting tired of it. My hair comes out straight, but when i go out into the humidy-filled air of Louisiana, my hair gets kind of frizzy. I know that having a perm may not keep my hair from getting frizzy at all times, but I know it will help. Sometimes I look at some peoples hair and see how beautiful their hair looks with a perm and I see that maybe mine could be that way also. I even went to a hair dresser fro Homecoming to get my hair styled and she even tried to tell my mom how a perm could work for my hair. Don't get me wrong, I like my hair, but the only way i can keep it really straight is if I keep it in a bun. I where it in a ponytail sometimes, and sometimes down, but in a bun is the only way I know it will stay straight. Can you tell me of any relaxers the you know of that would work well for my hair. I have a mix between good hair ( my dad has straight hair) and a kind of curly (i guess you can call it that) hair, which my mom has. By the way she also gets her hair pressed. Another problem i have with it is that i want to get my hair cut and with a hot comb, i wont be able to wear my hair down like other people, and they say it wont fall the same way. Please help me. I would appreciate it. thank you in advance.
      Sincerely,
      Kim Pierre

      A. The Naturalaxer is the answer for you. It will soften and loosen your natural curl and make your hair easier to style and less prone to frizz. You will be able to get a straight look or go back to a natural style. The Naturalaxer will also make your hair more humidity resistent.

You should also try our SOFT CURL shampoo, MOISTURE CURL conditioner, HYDROLYZER conditioner, HAIR DEW gel and EHO ESSENTIAL HAIR OIL to moisturize and condition your hair to eliminate dryness. To keep frizzies away on a daily basis try the NATURAL PRESS hairdressing and HAIR POLISH.
