luc sport 2000

tried on a luc 2000 with bracelet yesterday for first time. it is fantastic. I was surprised that for its size, it looked good on my small wrist. possibly because its thinner than many 40mm watches (breitling).

They only had black face, and I think blue would be better. the salesman said that the bracelet version doesn't come in blue, but that I could get the blue face and buy the bracelet separately.

Is this true? and how much would the bracelet cost?
difference in list price is $1300 between bracelet and rubber strap models.
Anyone have a good place where I may be able to pick one up?

Make sure you try a silver face before settling on the blue.

I was very taken by the blue face as well when I first went shopping, however ended up deciding on the silver face.

I've had all three and find the silver works best for me.

There is a previous forum thread regarding the bracelet by Andy Thurman. I'm sure you will find this helpful. Please feel free to email me any questions.

The Blue dial ia available on bracelet and....

it is a stunning combination. I previously owned the silver dialed version and loved it. As others here have stated, the silver dial is beautiful and a bit more formal. The blue dial on bracelet is equally as nice but carries a far sportier look. If you are looking for a well rounded sport casual watch you will love the blue on bracelet.
