At least that's one way of looking at in in comparitive terms.
For me, hair (the cutting, coloring, or shaving, of...) is a true sexual fetish. That doesn't mean that I stalk women down dark alley ways, or that I stand around beating off as I watch a woman through her bedroom window as she does her nightly brushing. The term fetish has definitely taken a negative beating in the hair communities lately.
But, for me, having a hair fetish simply means that it is one of the primary visual triggers that make my intimate moments (with either self, or with my wife) possible and enjoyable.
In many ways, that's not so completely different from many women who have a genuine "need" for their lovemaking to happen with the right atmosphere and mood in order to achieve an orgasm. My atmosphere happens to be hair related; whether my own or a woman's hair.
Which leads me back to the topic of this entry.
I love getting my own hair shaved bald by a woman. It is an experience that is arousing and relaxing all at once. The feel of a woman massaging my scalp with her clippers, and then caressing my naked head with the lather and the tug of the razor, is like a day at the spa receiving a massage from an attractive masseuse.
To take it a step further, if the stylist happens to be quite attractive, the experience of having my head shaved can be compared to going to a classy strip club and having one of the dancers perform an exotic lap dance for me. In my personal experience, the shaving is much more enjoyable and arousing. And, in my case, the shaving takes place much closer to home (our local strip clubs on the east side being 45 minutes away) giving me more immediate access to my lovely wife with whom I rather enjoy sharing my arousal with.
With that said, it is important (especially if your wife is aware of this aspect of your hair fetish) to make sure that your wife is not offended by you going to a barber or stylist to have your head shaved. I'm fortunate enough that I'm in a relationship where my wife knows that I'm indulging my fetish but devoting my affections solely upon her. We've come to that understanding only because we have both made a concerted effort to discuss my desires and fetish needs at great length with one another. That understanding remains in place because I am diligent in being completely honest and forthcoming with my wife about all aspects of my fetish and activities related to my fetish.
Communication is the key. Communication allows me to express my fetish with, and around my wife. That doesn't mean that my every desire will come true. I still long for the day that I can share the experience of shaving my wife's head completely bald, or of my desire to give her a feminine crewcut. Those aspects of this fetish are as of yet unrealized, and most likely a long way off in possibility; but open communication has allowed me to express my desire for them without fear of rejection and humiliation.
Communication allows me to indulge my fetish to have my hair cut or shaved off; either by my wife, or by a "stranger" at a barbershop or salon.
So, while most people are out there keeping their fetish locked away to themselves, I'll be out getting my "lap dance" at the salon and going home to my wife to share my enthusiasm from being shaved.
