I added 12 new photo galleries under the CEBK (Close Encounters of the Bald Kind) header this weekend.
The "2007 St. Baldrick's" tab will take you to a gallery summary page that shows 12 of the ladies that I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph at this years St. Baldrick's charity event, held at the Helen Fitzgerald's Grill and Pub, located in St. Louis, MO
I have several miscellaneous buzzing photos to add at a later date, as well as many 'Barberette' photos to add; but these 12 galleries were what I had in complete form following the full shearing of each participant's hair.
These brave women, along with nearly 200 other brave men, women, and children, managed to raise $224,696.00 at this years event.
While it was a thrill for me to see these beautiful women enhance their beauty by shaving their heads bald, I was also very proud to be able to contribute a little bit, on my own part, to this noble charity event through pledges and monies that I raised in support of the shavees.
I did not shave my head for the event this year, as I did for the 2006 event, because my head was already quite bald; but I may decide to grow out enough hair to raise money for the 2008 shavings.
