It's been explained atleast 3 times on the CobraForum about the RF pricing and meat still doesn't care to get it. What's his motive...to be the next Curt Scott? I would have posted this under the "flogging" thread but I can't open it, it just locks up my browser on that thread only. I had just let it go on the CF because every 6-9 months meat and I lock horns because he won't listen to a valid resonable point, never answers a direct question and just runs his mouth at infinitem to make himself look smart at the expense of others. Sorry if I'm venting. I'm just stuck in a philisophical debate in my head between "Never argue with a fool", and " For evil to flourish, it only takes good men to do nothing".
PS Great forum Ron and I'll have pictures of the USA GT40 soon

Hi Wayne,
I refuse to post on that thread. Meat has for some reason picked up the banner for David Phan and Dirt cowboy. They are the three on all the posts that have a some difficulty understanding. Meat throws gasoline on the fire when he thinks it's starting to go out. For some unknown reason he finds this highly entertaining. I honestly thought Meat was for wanting the truth. But that can't be it because it was shown to him by others and the owner, Instead he infers the first time posters are phonys or plants by RF.
I researched as you did. I honestly can't see where someone thinks RF is ripping people off.Now Dirt cowboy comes along and says he was told he could purchase the Australian rolling chassis for the price listed. When I called way back in Febuary Robert told me that was not available to the states as shipping was the same for a complete kit as for a partial and $3.5K is a lot for shipping. He then explained that he had sold two already and he would sell me one deluxe kit for the same as the others. This is what happened. I don't understand why Robert would change that. But facts are what count , not hear say.

Your Friend,
Hershal

I've posted my last post over there on the forum that has anything to do with RF pricing. I don't wish to be seen as someone who is trying to constantly defend RF, however, I don't want a good company to suffer for a few out on a witch hunt.

Hershal's view is, in my opinion, right on regarding the characters in this saga. What makes it worse is that I really don't think any of these players are looking for a GT40.

At any rate I'm done with it and need to spend less time reading trash and more time building the car.

Have a good one,

Ron

Folks,

I tried to stem that tide twice. Wasn't going to happen though ... so I give up too!

Sorry to see anyone trashed keyboard because someone "wishes something were so."

Agree with Dr. Earp ... time to put more energy in the build and less in trying to talk sense to the incouragable.

Best to you all,

I haven't been online much lately but have heard about that thread. I just tried to read it but was overcome by the smell of rotting MEAT. I deleated the link form my favorites and don't plan on going back to that site. Actually I had given up on CobraForum before it got as bad as it is now, but Ron mentioned it to me the other day so I thought I would check in to see if most of them were still ingnorant.

Curt Scott v. Meat

Big difference between Curt and Meat. Curt would
have tried contacting Robert and/or Levy Racing,
and would have gotten the straight scoop -- and
probably already has since I don't see any warnings
about RF on kitcar.com.
Meat did not.
