How are people addressing the issue of engine packaging and accessories?

RF included in my kit the alternator, alt pulley, crank pulley, and belts. All v-belts. The air conditioning compressor that came with the kit has a serpentine pulley on it though, thus I'm not sure which way to go. I suppose I can pull that off and put a v-belt pulley on.

V-belts are okay, but I like the slick installation of a serpentine. Of course, noone will ever see either in a GT40 installation.

Ford makes a short water pump for the street rod guys and that is the only one I know of. The RF kit uses a standard pump. Mine is from Ford Racing (made by Edelbrock)If Ron wants to post a picture I can send him a picture of my completed engine.
