| this is a huge subject!
now that I've said that... the first glimmer of it comes really from Bro Russell's thought that there would be "an adjustment of matters" regarding certain features of the Tabernacle as the Gospel Age came to a close...
or in other words... while the Israelites in the camp represented the world of mankind in darkness outside of the Tabernacle court, camped in their 12 tribes (representing the 12 denominations of Christendom), it would not always be so, for the plan of God is progressive and the idea has always been that Jesus came and died for Adam and his progeny... so eventually the camp would be enlightened.
We see in Leviticus 16, that after the atonement day sacrifices were complete (the bullock and the Lord's goat and their connected burnt offerings) the priest would eventually take the blood of the animals out into the camp and sprinkle all the people. This types the application of the Ransom merit on the fallen human race. This is the larger finished picture, but we see as we've gone along in this Epiphany time, a gradual unfolding of events and some of them too are shown in the Tabernacle picture.
For instance... Bro Russell spoke of the time when those who represented the Great Company would be manifested, they would in the picture be "remanded" to the court. This means that they could or would no longer be represented in the Holy of the tent proper, because that particular feature which represented "spirit begettal" during the Gospel age was only intended to be temporary... i.e., those therein were intended to carry out their sacrifice and then at death to pass under the second veil into the Most Holy which represented the spirit birth. Since the Great Company did not carry out their sacrifice, they are not included in this picture, thus, we never speak of them as "passing beyond the veil" because the other side of this veil is immortality and the Divine Nature, which they did not secure. Instead, our Lord was pleased to represent them as back in the court...no longer as perspective priests, but as Levites, who were the servants and special assistants to the priesthood. They were brought before the priesthood (numbers 8) and cleansed (by having their bodies shaved from head to toe and having the waters of the Laver poured over them mingled with the ashes of the Red Heifer). These things are all quite significant in their own right, but my point here is to show the beginning of the progression of the Tabernacle Picture. At this point in time the court continued to represent the place of justification by faith. Those who were approaching consecration during the Gospel Age, the believers in Jesus Christ, were pictured here. This too was not drawing to a close, and at the end of the Epiphany proper (1954) it ended. From this point forward only Levites were in the court, namely, the cleansed Great Company and the Youthful Worthy class. Since the opportunity to be in this latter class ended with the fall of 1954, new consecrations are pictured by those in the camp who approach the Gate to the Court.... and Jesus or course is the Gate (or door).
There were by the way, servants in the camp who did service toward the priesthood also, via the Levites, by providing them with the water for the Laver and wood for fuel for the altal sacrifices. These more particularly (called the Nethinim) were set aside for the Lord's service and idealy represent those first ones of the Camp to be privileged to come to the Lord in consecration post 1954. Since they are in the Camp and they are Consecrating and the time period was the Epiphania, they have been thus dubbed the Consecrated Epiphany Campers, or CEC for short.
