(Next morning, Dr. Angel and Gav say their polite goodbyes and he leaves Carolina at door to Salinas' Dept... when Gaviota comes in, Salinas is tasting a canned cold coffee from Japan, but the coffee it's made of is 100% colombian. He gives her his first lesson in coffee history and worldwide marketing(this is Salinas' favorite conversation subject in the whole world!! No coffee has the reputation of Colombian coffee!! There are better or finer coffees out there, but none with the reputation/fame of colombian coffee... Then he begins ordering her different tasks, without letting her do the first one... like arranging meeting with the executives of the Assoc related to marketing colombian coffee around the world, but he can't even find his 'agenda', which I think is a business address book... . He also begins confusing her name and calls her Catalina instead of Carolina, which ticks her off... He is not at all very good at organization and seems to have a constant caffeine overload, constantly being on his toes and anxious and changing task focus and conversation subjects every minute or so... He realizes she is not very good at ranking coffee, so he will train her from scratch in that area...)
(Ivan and Angela read the morning paper, he is not so thrilled, but she is pleased with the result of the interviews and pictures)
(Angela arrives at Ivan's appt mad because of the article on the magazine that Lucrecia and Ivan interviewed for... 'that is not the way to do this!! This is too much scandal!!'. Lucrecia argues loudly with her and Ivan plays referee for a moment. After Ivan leaves Angela tells Lucrecia a bunch of lies that she was always in favor of Ivan returning with her but also is still mad about the article and says 'te falto mucha clase en esto'. Ivan comes back and also reprimends Lucrecia on the tone she addressed Angela. 'Vas a tener que dejar tu soberbia, mi amor!'...)
(Marcia's parents are still in Miami with her in Ivan's house... they read the paper, and show it to Marcia, they (Marcia too!) will go back to Bogota and ask the Vallejos for an explanation!! Later Marcia calls Ivan's appartment, Lucrecia answers the call and yells at Marcia and demands that she leave the Miami house by noon tomorrow!!)
Ivan finds out from building guard/doorman that Lucrecia never went on any singles trip, she was there every day locked in her apt. Ivan finds this funny/amusing.)
(Lucrecia and Lucia meet with Susana for lunch... they tell Susana that Carolina is a vividora, attempted to destroy their marriages and now is looking for a position of power, maybe Susana's herself since she is so close to Avellaneda, watch out for her... )
(Meanwhile Lucrecia and Lucia recruit Susana, Sebastian has arrived at their apt and tells the maid he will go to Cecilias. There he meets up with Marcela and tells her that they were right, the Vallejo women were at Assoc asking for Carolinas head in a platter... but they didnt achieve it. Marcela hints Seb on Paula and Miguel's announcement at dinner, that Miguel has decided to be an 'hacendado cafetero'... Then Sebastian tells Marcela about their promises to Avellaneda to not cause trouble again, so they said their goodbyes and he has to put distance between them... and about his intent to go back to the hacienda as soon as the baby is born and move on with his original plan which was to stay at hacienda for good administering it...)
Marc: Sebastian!.. No me decepciones, si? Yo pense que tu eras el inteligente de la familia! Pero no. Por lo visto los hermanos mayores siempre son el modelito de experimentacion! Y los que seguimos salimos mejorcitos!

(Lucia is talking to Lucrecia at Lucrecia's apt...
Lucia: Asi pierda a Sebastian... asi se me acabe el matrimonio... la voy a perseguir como ella me ha perseguido a mi!... Y me voy a hundir con ella... con tal de que la pueda hundir.
(Ivan walks into them and warns them that they wont be able to marionette Avellaneda around like they did at CafeExport...
I: Es posible que no solo no las escuche ni les pase al telefono... sino que las mande al CARAJO. Y ahi si estarian perdidas.
(Lucrecia suggests to Lucia to talk to Cecilia and get her involved in the fight against Carolina...)
(Sebastian brings up to Marcela that it would be very rough on him and on Gaviota to be that close to each other... and it also would not be fair on Lucia, after all, she is his wife and in her state..., it would not be fair to submit her to that ...)
M: Sebastian! Tu sabes muy bien que no es que ella sea santo de mi devocion... pero aun asi respeto tu matrimonio! Y yo entiendo pues que aun eres su marido... pero nunca pierdas de vista todas las excusas que tuvo para cogerte del cuello!
Seb: Marcela, ella estaba desesperada!
M: Ah, si! Claro!! Tambien hay casos de mujeres desesperadas que cazan a sus maridos! Porque amanecio con otra! Otras, que los envenenan! Ytras que los entierran porque se sienten mas seguras con el tipo en la tumba que ahi! Pero ninguna es justificable, Sebastian!... Bueno! Hay que abonarle que cogio... la mas decente, no? Pero eso no la exhibe de su culpa! Es que mira todas las consecuenciass que esto te ha traido! Y Claro!... fue y se embarazo porque era el ultimo recurso que le queda!
Seb: Marcela, de que estas hablando??
M: Ay, Sebastian! Hay muchisimas excusas! Pero todavia hay unas menos ataristas! Por ejemplo! Amenazar con quitar los niños!.. Pero como no tiene niño pues... que amenaza?!... O darte celos con otro tipo! Pero ella sabe que donde la veas con otro tipo, serias capaz de darle a ese hombre la hacienda por indemnizacion para que se quede con EL! (he is looking at her like 'you are nuts! ') O la otra!! Usar ropa intima y perfumes afrodisiacos! Pero no! A ti te seduce muchisimo mas un saco de cafe bien beneficiado que Lucia en tanga!! Y por ULTIMO!... amenazar con suicidio!... pero ella nos e puede tirar el riesgo de que tu le sigas la corriente!...
