(Miguel meets with the oxychloride smuggler. He remembers Sebastian's reprimend about the expense bills of his 'gastos de representacion'. Miguel asks for 20 Million pesos, The guy offers him 14 Million.... Later Miguel gets home. Lucia repeats her invitation to a drink, then... this time Miguel is more eager since Seb is not around anymore and it is very late, Paula and everyone else are sleeping already. Lucia suggest they run away together... her marriage is over and she has to go right away, she wants to live with the father of her son and wants to have a normal family. The kid will always be a Vallejo legally, will eventually administer the hacienda, the tostadora and all the Vallejo fortune. .. Miguel hessitates, he has to think about it... Lucia summons him to the storeroom behind the house - the one she and Aurelio used once - where they can make love more privately... they head for it...)
(In the morning, Paula is trying to wake up Miguel to no avail but notices his jeans have some weird stains in them, then she goes to try and wake up Lucia. She asks Lucia what she thinks the stains could be from, Lucia notices she has same stains in her robe and hides them...)

Lucia: (Trying to downplay Paula's suspicions) Mira, no te preocupes por eso!
(Gaviota gets to her office, there is a big package that looks like a huge painting for her there with a card... they open the painting, it is a seagull (gaviota) flying free over the ocean... beautiful!... Gaviota loves it.. reads card...)

(Paula calls Sebastian at home, asks him if he knows why Cecilia is summoning a family meeting. Sebastian plays dumb clueless... (Jorge tells Sebastian he only got a word of mouth from Ricardo's new financial backer. Meanwhile, Ricardo tells Lucia if she and Sebastian separated, Sebastian would end off the worst because he (Ricardo) would be released from the loan obligation.
Ric: Si, Lucia! Pero tendriamos que huir como unos malhechores!! Y convencete que los Vallejo no se quedan de brazos cruzados!! Ellos se vengan de ti, de mi y de cualquiera!!
Luc: Ahora entiendo porque Sebastian esta tan calmado. No le conviene separarse.
