Marta, since I haven’t seen the novela, I’ll defer to you and the opinions of others who have seen it. I’m just happy to have the chance to read your dialogues, and I plan to save them and reread them when I finally do have the chance to see Café. Mostly I’d like you to use your judgment and just share the scenes that you love the most. Having said that, I will agree that the Gaviota/Sebastian scenes are obviously the most important, and based on what I’ve read so far, and what I’ve seen of the remake, I’m also interested in elements of the story that deal with everyone’s involvement in the coffee industry. I don’t know if this sounds strange, but I like it when a novela has a meaty framework to hang the story on, such as the coffee industry – I think it shows me something about the culture, and gives the novela’s plot a bit more depth, and I’ve even learned a bit! Again, thanks for the dialogues you’ve given us so far…
