Mauricio tells Avellaneda he is waiting until after the Congreso Cafetero to tell Gaviota he wants her to go to Europe with him, so she will have faced Sebastian again and will have a better idea of what is the situation there.

Angela tells the Vallejo wives they won’t go to the Congreso, to cause problems for Gaviota.
Paula and Miguel arrive at Cecilia’s house in Bogota. Miguel tells Paula he wants them to buy an apartment, he feels uncomfortable staying at someone elses place.

Paula gets a call from Lucre/Lucia/Angela, summoning her. She is tired, won’t go right now. Lucia keeps using excuses like the baby has a cold, so she won’t have to show the baby to the Vallejos or Ivan.
Sebastian, Ivan, Cecilia, Francisco meet at CE. Sebastian gives them the report of hacienda and CE. Cecilia remids all about the Congreso cocktail honoring Octavio Vallejo. Asks them to ask the wives to come along, and to have them behave with Gaviota and the Assoc. Francisco scolds Ivan about playing with the family money at the stock market. Ivan gets really obnoxious telling Seb ‘this is the way you work coffee’
Seb: Pues a mi no me importa como te juegues tu vida y la de los demas en la bolsa!! Pueda que mi negocio no implique mover tanto volumen, o que no deje tanta rentabilidad!! Pero la verdad es esta!! Mi negocio es mucho mas tranquilo!! Yo no me juego el infarto de la bolsa!! Y si me quiebro, yo no arrastro a todo el mundo en el torbellino!! (Ivan warns Seb that local coffee prices are coming down. Seb warns him back not to count on the hacienda crops)
Cec: Ya basta!!... Ustedes no van a poder seguir trabajando juntos con esta peleadera!!
Seb: No se preocupe, abuela! Es que ya no vamos a trabajar mas juntos! Precisamente estaba esperando para entregarles mi carta de renuncia como Gerente General de CE! Y como podran ver, esa carta fue redactada antes de esta reunion! Asi que no tiene que ver nada con esta discussion!! (he retires)… Tio, esto no es lo que estaba buscando. Yo quiero dedicarme de lleno a mi negocio. Sacarlo adelante! Y aqui, trabajando en CE, no tengo el tiempo. La verdad es que quiero independizarme!... Abuela, le estoy dando un viraje a mi vida. (Seb gives them a month to find a replacement for him, will keep administering the hacienda and will come to all family Board meetings) Ivan pressures him to have a clear report of the hacienda.
Lucia calls her mom, seems like she gets told her dad is hiding because he could not pay the debt.
Luc: Claro que estoy nerviosisima!! Como no voy a estarlo?? Yo me quiero separar de Sebastian, pero no quiero que EL quede en la ruina! No , no seria saludable para ninguno de nosotros.
Sebastian warns Cecilia he will be at the Congreso cocktail for Octavio’s ceremony but won’t stay after that. Seb makes a date with Daniela to go look at office spaces available. Miguel tells Paula he is going to see his folks but Paula catches his lie, she just called them, they are not in town. Find another excuse.
Harold mentions he has been invited too to the cocktail…
Mig: Si a ti te invitaron vas a quedar como mosco en leche!
Harold responds something about him being in the ‘lista negra’ already so no harm in it…
Phone rings at Cecilia’s. Lucia hangs up when Marcela answers. Paula tells Marcela she thinks it is Miguel’s lover. Marcela tells Pau she has to talk to/trust someone…
Pau: No te quiero contra nada hasta que no tenga pruebas.
