Jorge is back with Francisco the next morning and brings up the possibility (which we all know is the truth) that Ivan and the Perez lawyer tricked Sebastian and Carolina Olivares into the scam. Francisco is livid, mad because Jorge Latorre is throwing accusations to Ivan without proof. Ivan calls Francisco and tells him he could not move a single dollar in the banks, all is frozen. Francisco is really mad now. Says Sebastian will have to respond for all this, even with the finca! Jorge is quick to notify to Francisco he can forget about the finca and why.
At the office, Bernardo has been very uneasy and strange lately. Manuel wants to know why Bernardo has been so distant lately. Bernardo ends up confessing that the 'exportaciones ficticias' scam is out in the open, they are investigating. Manuel gets very scared, his signature is on all those papers. Bernardo promises to him (but we can tell he does not believe it himself) that nothing will happen to him).
Arthur tells Paula the creditors will go after other production of the hacienda, then after Sebastian's assetts. Both Paula and Arthur blame themselves for this, they failed Sebastian.
Marcela calls Carmenza, asks her that Sebastian call Cecilia's house asap after he and Gaviota arrive.
At the resort room, Sebastian and Gaviota are both sad they have to go... He is standing outside the room, she is inside, looking at him through glass window, she walks around and joins him outside looking out to sea (I think)...
Seb: Te acuerdas la ultima vez que insististe en que regresaramos?? Yo te dije que no y me llevaste la contraria?? en que termino eso?? Un desastre!!
Gav: Pero ahora no va a pasar eso. O Usted quiere que me despidan?
Seb: No. Simplemente queria quedarme aqui contigo. (kissy kissy)
Ivan arrives at CE. Ivan begins mouthing out that Sebastian will have to respond for all this, they are losing big bucks every minute that their business has been haulted by the Association and all kinds of accusations against Sebastian.. (what a jerk!!!!)
Ber: Estas pensando hundir a Sebastian??
Ivan: Pero Bernardo! Y que quieres que haga, hah???
Francisco: Un momento!! No te precipites!! Estamos hablando de Sebastian Vallejo, tu primo!! Practicamente tu hermano!! Estamos hablando de un problema de familia enorme!! No podemos caer en un infierno de acusaciones que pueda desembocar en el encarcelamiento de alguno!! Esto es un problema de familia y lo resolveremos entre todos!!
I: Acaso Sebastian penso en la hermandad cuando hizo todo esto?? Penso en ti??! Penso en nosotros?? En la familia?? Y ahora me pides que tenga compasion??? (what a jerk!!)
Fran: Solo te estoy pidiendo que hablemos con EL! Todos conocemos a Sebastian! Es algo muy extraño!!
I: Sebastian es un IMBECIL que se deja arrastrar por una mujer ambiciosa!!
(Ivan continued throwing insults and accusations toward both Sebastian and Gaviota)
(Later on, Ivan/Bernardo alone in CE conference room... boy if walls could talk...)
Ber: No puedo creer que no tengas remordimiento con Sebastian!! Estas tan livido que ni te reconozco. Por favor! Tu no le puedes hacer esto a Sebastian!!
I: Esto no se puede pagar con dinero!! Solo con la carcel!! Alguien tiene que responder por esto y no voy a ser yo!!
Ber: Se trata de Sebastian!!
I: Y TU estas hablando de tu hermano!! (carbon copy of Angela's words... de tal palo tal astilla)
Ber: Es que no solamente eres tu!!! Ni EL!!! Soy YO!!! Es la Abuela!! Son las primas!! Y hasta mi asistente personal!!
(Ivan, again with same words as his mother, promises to Bernardo they will do whatever they can for Manuel but for that they need to free CafeExport and their money from the legal shutdown!!)
(Sebastian/Gaviota arrive at Carmenza's, he carries Gaviota through threshold of door...)
Seb: Le prometi que le traeria a su hija y aqui la tiene!... No van a necesitar nada. En Londres yo tengo un apartamento muy bien amueblado.
Carm: Es que el joven se va a ir con nosotras?
Seb: Si, Señora! (confused at her attitude/questioning, Carmenza gets all sad at his answer)
Carm: Yo quisiera preguntarles... pues yo se que la juventud y la gente moderna hace esas cosas. Pero... Ustedes se van a ir asi sin casarse ni nada de eso??
Seb: No, no, no!! Claro que nos vamos a casar!! Si esta noche yo le iba a pedir la mano de su hija!... pero Usted se me adelanto! (laughs)
Carm: Pero hay promesa y palabra y todo en serio??
Gav: Que si promesa?? Hay juramento, maldicion, collares y cuanta cosa!! (LOL!!)
(Carmenza tells Sebastian that he needs to call his grandmother's house asap, Sebastian dials the number of Cecilia's house...)
(end of ep 139... only 20 more to go!!, and most of those are downhill from now until the final few eps, so hold on for a roller coaster ride like no other!!...)
