(Sebastian arrives at Finlandia, Juancho is outside the bar with other guys, waving his body around drunk)
Seb: Juancho!... Juancho!
Jua: Don Sebastian!! Don Sebastian!! Usted que hace aqui?? Usted no estaba en Europa?? Y la Gaviota??
Seb: No, no! (they share Juancho's bottle, Sebastian notices the flyers in the column, they are calling for family and friends of 'Matilde Arango') Juancho!... Esta es Matilde Arango? La misma nina esta??
Jua: La misma, Doctor!!
(You can tell Seb's brain speeds up as in thinking now Arthur can come over and help out with the hacienda. Some drunk guy comes over and greets Seb, he also used to work at the hacienda. Seb greets him but needs to talk to Juancho...)
Seb: Juancho!...
Jua: (too drunk to think straight, very happy) Pero quien piensa en esa hacienda ahora, Don Sebastian!! Si es que ya nos vamos!!
Seb: A donde es que se van?
Jua: (pointing with his finger/arm, very happy) Pa' la feria de Manizales!!
(the drunk guy had heard Juancho say this but they leave and he does not have time to get on the jeep with them... Gaviota arrives just after they leave and begins to ask for the hacienda, they tell her it is abandoned, she looks confused, tries to get a confirmation they are talking about the Vallejo hacienda, they say there's noone there, the drunk guy tells her they just left for Manizales... Gav is on her way after them)
(At Cecilia's the phone rings... it's Lucia. She looks very put together, definitely has got a job or some comfort level somehow...)
(you can tell Lucia is caught by surprise with the question, had not contemplated that possibility at all) Porque me parece que tiene todo el derecho de ver al nino, no?
(Harold looks at Marc in approval of what she is saying...)
Luc: (hesitating for a moment, then...)
Lucia!... Gracias!
Luc: Hasta luego. (they hang up, Marcela comes back to living room to tell them about the call)
(Sebastian and Juancho arrive at Manizales. The town is saturated with people on the sidewalks and balconies watching a parade going down the street. Sebastian is drunk by now, in full party mode... He joins the parade and jumps on a wagon float to ride it down the street... Gaviota is also there, walking down the sidewalk but does not get to see him... She buys some sandals from a vendor on the sidewalk, even gives her her own coat... Juancho treats Sebastian to more aguardiente. Sebastian lets the store owner put Gaviota's cassette on, and after a while there and another drink, they are leaving... Sebastian wants his cassette back but...)
(Seb leaves the bar, Juancho stays behind and convinces the store owner to trade the cassette for a bottle of aguardiente... As the Gaviota song is still playing Gaviota is going down the sidewalk and recognizes her own voice, rushes to the bar... asks the owner how he got that cassette, has a hard time convincing him that is her singing, 'es este pecho que tiene Usted alfrente!' and even has to sing a part of the song for him to agree that it is her singing... he tells her she is pretty and sings very well... but agrees to give her the cassette back... then gets confirmation of the guy who gave him the cassette was a 'monito ojiverde'... then asks him if they said where they were headed, the drunk guy again comes by and tells her he heard them say they are going to RioSucio. Another town... more street parades. Gaviota enters a store and guys a dress... as she is doing this, Sebastian further down the street spots a woman with brown curly hair and confuses her with Gaviota... he touches the lady on the shoulder and they guy who is with the lady begins to get rough with Sebastian... Juancho pulls Sebastian out of there... As Gaviota comes out of the store after putting the dress on, she spots Sebastian heading down the street on a jeep, calls for him but with all the noise of the crowd and his state, he can't hear her... she ends up going right by the guy who was just rough with Sebastian, and she gets rough with him... daring him... lol... but moves on to try and catch up with Sebastian... Now they are headed for Calarca)
(now at Calarca streets, again lots of crowds and parade... Seb and Juancho are zig-zagging down the street drunk as ever...)
Seb: Tranquilo, Juancho! Te voy a contar algo!
Jua: Pero Don Sebastian! Hombre! Mire, le presento unas muchachas! A ver si se alegra el ojo! (LOL!!)
(I was laughing hysterically as he said this because he was falling over to the side and had a very funny way to shout La Gaviota... great drunk acting by Guy...)
(Someone throws a flower and it hits Sebastian smack in center of his chest, he picks the flower up from the street and carries it with him...) (LOL!!! Good one!!)
Seb: No, Juancho!! Juancho, escuchame!! Para mi solo hay una mujer!! Una mujer!!
(The parades continue and Sebastian and Juancho continue oscilating down the street with them... until they end up at a cantina where there is a trio of guys singing sad trio songs... Sebastian and Juancho sit down at a table near the trio, keep on drinking)
