Actually, not ALL of "Preciosa" is bad because Iran Castillo is a very good actress. Actually, this is the first time I've seen her act (sorry, I missed "Agujetas de Color de Rosa" when they rebroadcast it on Univision). Her warm and friendly charisma brings a lot of life on the small screen. It's as if she wants to be your friend. Iran has certainly come into her prime as an actress, and I hope to see her in more telenovelas in the future ("Soñadoras" is just around the corner--that is, if Univision will broadcast it this year)
But the rest of the novela is too colorful and puerile. This concept of a "circus" novela is too cheesy and not an appealing concept for the audience this novela is targeted toward. Plus, the storyline is formatted almost the same way as that of "Mi Pequeña Traviesa".
