I've got some time to kill so I poked around a bit. 
Look at Matthew 22:39. What does that say? What about the story of the good Samaritan in Luke? Note that both of these were actually quotes from Jesus telling his followers how they should treat others.
Again, this is something you need to decide for yourself- how you believe, what you believe, etc. And if you do continue to study the bible, I would suggest you see what different bible scholars think about certain verses as compared to what the WTS says. Knowledge is never bad- even if you come across something you don't agree with.
