I should have elaborated more...

I probably should have added more. I no longer study with my friend. As of a couple of years ago, she has kind of put a barrier up and has distanced herself more from me.
The reason I am questioning why I have witnesses coming to my home is because I had recently received a phone call from my friend's sister who is NOT a JW. She explained to me that she has been studying with a JW and that she began to question some of the things they were studying. By the way, I do now believe that she sent someone to visit her sister also. Her sister called me because she knew that I had been reading about the history of the JWs and knew that I had tried to get her sister to open her eyes to their teachings. Ironically, after I spoke with her sister I began having more and more witnesses coming to my home.

As for the Bible issue (and it was a very big issue), I asked her to read with me and that we would compare each translation. Like I said, it didn't last long before she began to distance herself.

So it isn't that I have added fuel to the fire, although I do see your point here.

Your friend has a blindfold on and they are walking towards the edge of a cliff and she has others tied to her....don't you yell out and try to grab your friend?
