Funny you should ask. I checked this board a few nights ago after being away for years. Just wanted to see if everyone was still alive and kicking, only to see all the new announcements by the Dubs so they can try to keep the mind control going and going and going.....
I suspect we are all out here living life, growing old, and checking in here every once in awhile just to see how everyone's doing. We never really quit caring, you know.
I'm now a grandmother of five, and my oldest granddaughter turned 10 years yesterday. Being Grammy is my biggest reward in life, and I cherish every bit of time I spend with my grandbabies. They are precious.
My second eldest daughter is getting married on June 1st, and she's having a beautiful wedding. I've been helping her with all of the arrangements, so life is busy. All of my girls were here for the weekend, and we had a nice time. Their Dad suddenly passed away two years ago in February, and their grandparents (his parents) followed in quick succession. 2006 was a rough year, but we made it through. Time goes on and we cherish every moment we all spend together.
My husband, Wolfgang, and I are planning a nice vacation to Oregon and Washington in September. We haven't taken a vacation in three years so we're looking forward to some time away from home, just traveling around.
So here's an update from one MIA. Anyone else out there sneaking a peek to see how everyone's doing?
