Sorry, but they won't read any tracts you give them. And as Tucker mentioned earlier it's very hard to witness to JWs unless you understand how they interpret the scriptures....even then it's a tough task. I take it you mean you want to tell them about Jesus, right? Is that what you mean by wanting to teach them the truth? They will reply that they believe in Jesus. What then? Are you prepared to battle debates on why the Bible says people will live forever on the earth? Are you ready to debate the meaning of the New Jerusalem or Israel of God? How about the trinity when they produce verse after verse poniting out the Father and Son relationship? They're VERY prepared to debate this stuff, are you? I don't mean to discourage your willingness to share the gospel you accept, it's just a lot different I'm sure than however you received it. Don't think you're gonna show 'em a few scriptures on 'Jesus saves' and think they'll convert and leave the Watchtower. They need your prayers but they also need some very prepared scriptural debates, ready for it?
*"Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about Him being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to." C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity* |
