I was thinking

Even though I'm not one of the real old timers, I've been here off and on for a few years and have noticed the same thing. But, it's true...life does go on. We all have one major thing in common and that is our encounter with the society. Whether it was a long or a short relationship with the borg, it affected us all adversely. All of us were affected mentally and emotionaly, and some physicaly.

This board is a life line to some of us. Even though we have moved on with our lives, moved to different places, met new people, changed jobs, changed relationships, or just tried to survive in this complex world we live in, we always know that we can go to a computer, find this board, and enter into a special place where we find warmth, welcome, and common bond. The people out there that we meet can hear our stories and ooooh and ahhhh, but nobody fully understands us like the people here.

All of us have aired greivences, discussed personal feelings, shared life, and some, like myself have been spanked on occasion for being an ass. However, the board is always here, and it is special. I miss having discussions with Tucker, and LB, and ALL of you, but just as was said earlier, life goes on.

I don't think the board is dead, just resting, waiting on some other poor lost ex jw to step in and be welcomed.

Thank you to wheoever started the whole damn thing to begin with. Instead of taps...how about both sides of DARK SIDE OF THE MOON.
