Thanks LB. We are wearing old fashioned ivory flowy kinda dresses. Kinda hippyish. Going barefoot. We have worked closely with the Pastor at our church (UCC) to design a ceremony that honors both Christian and Pagan traditions.
They gave us a bridal shower after church today. We also went and picked up our rings. It is getting so close and there is so much to do.
I'm excited about my hair. A mom, of one of the students at our center, is doing my hair. It will be down with small strands of hair criss crossed across the top of my head in a net sort of effect. Hard to explain.
I wil post pics. I can hardly wait to see Robin in her dress. I've seen the dress but we are not seeing each other in our wedding clothing until we enter the sanctuary.
We will have a circle and an alter with God and Goddess candles and direction candles. A friend made a beautiful smudge pot and turkey feather fan.
What a wonderfuly beautiful sounding wedding. May you both be long blessed with your love and friendship together. I love it when Christian and Pagan Traditions come together. So peacefull.
Thank you Thomas. It was the perfect blending of traditions. The ceremony was so meaningful and beautiful. Everyone we invited commented on how lovely and different it was.
