Wow, who knew? We knew they could box...but attack go figure.
I have a story. A friend, who I attended school with, lives near a small zoo. This zoo has many big cats. It started as a rescue thing and has grown. At this zoo you can often pet the baby animals or feed them. It is quite a bit hands on. It is in the country.
Well anyway.... One day my friend starts to leaves his house through his front door and there on his door step is a full grown male lion. I kid you not. So, he quickly goes back inside. He calls his neighbor and friend, who runs the zoo (and lives there), and he comes and retrieves his lion. This is not a difficult task because he has handled all the animals and they are ok with him.
True story...I swear.
Another story...same friend...he is going home one night and a kangaroo (it might have been a walaby) crosses the road in front of him and he hits it (not on purpose. Now this causes damage to his car so he calls his insurance company to tell him he is turning in a claim for damages caused by hitting a kangaroo on the road to his house. After they ask if he had been drinking or if the road to his house is in Austraiia and when they are done laughing their asses off they file the claim.
The kangaroo was ok, captured and returned to its home.
Here is a link to the zoo. It's a fun place, small but we like going there at least once each summer.
